Clark Pacific has contributed to the dynamic growth of the West
Coast for over 40 years. Founded as Tecon Pacific in 1963,
the company started in West Sacramento on a four-acre site with
15 employees. In 1966, James Clark joined the then small
firm as its general manager.
With the help of many talented and dedicated engineering, plant,
and field employees, the company grew rapidly during the pioneering
stages of the industry in California. In the 1960s, the
production of precast concrete panels was in its infancy –
new forming, casting, stripping, loading, shipping, and erection
techniques were being developed throughout the industry.
Today Clark Pacific is owned and operated under equal partnership
between Jim Clark and his sons, Donald Clark and Robert Clark,
both of whom are presidents of the company. Like their father,
both Don and Bob are registered engineers and are dedicated to
producing the best quality precast solutions possible.
Clark Pacific has become an award-winning producer of architectural
and structural precast concrete and is a key partner of leading
architects and contractors. In its nearly half century of existence,
Clark Pacific continues to help shape the urban landscape of the
West Coast.
