New parking structure to serve SUMC and the newly renovated Hoover Pavilion utilizes total precast and the latest technology for seismic resilience.
This 8-level parking structure (2 below grade) will serve the Hoover Pavilion building which is under current renovation in order to serve as a new medical office building for the Stanford University Medical Center.
The total precast, double Tee structure features the Precast Hybrid Moment Frame (PHMF) for superior seismic resistance and "All-in-One" architecturally finished precast structural elements on the exterior achieving an economical Class A finish on this important addition to the Hoover Pavilion campus.
The use of off-site produced total precast on the project will reduce the construction impact to this project and reduce overall the overall construction schedule by up to three months.
