San Jose International Airport ConRAC Parking

This landmark project is an important part of the recent expansion of the San Jose International Airport. Located on airport grounds, this new consolidated rental car facility and co-located “quick-turn-around” puts rental cars within convenient walking distance of the new terminals, and helped put San Jose ahead of its regional rivals in terms of on-airport services. Double-tee precast design and construction of this 1.8M SF structure greatly helped reduce congestion at the project site and save almost five months on the overall schedule. Double-tee construction benefits (cost and schedule) contributed to the financial success of the project as well – helping bring it in $36M under its original budget of $270M.

Precast parking structures are efficient, economical, environmentally friendly and structurally resilient.

This is the largest precast parking structure ever built in California.
