Target Sunnyvale Parking Garage

21 days total precast erection.

When developers decided a new Target store was to be the new anchor store as part of the revitalization and development of the existing Sunnyvale Town Center, in Sunnyvale, California, precast concrete was determined as the material of choice for the parking garage and below-grade receiving area. The 106,000 sq ft. parking garage was a mixed-use podium concept garage, featuring long-spanning precast double tees that allowed for an expansive interior feel with fewer columns, as well as integrated precast podiums allowing for the Target retail both above and at ground level. Total precast erection time spanned 21 days, giving surrounding neighbors and businesses a store that could anchor the community within a short construction schedule.
