The Metropolitan

SF-Bay Area

Architectural precast offers durable building envelope for twin residential towers near the entrance to the San Francisco Bay Bridge.

Nestled between San Francisco’s Financial District and the Embarcadero, the award-winning Metropolitan was the first major development built in the Rincon Hill/South of Market District after the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake. This high-rise residential project is comprised of two towers above a 3-story podium with four levels of below ground parking. These twin condominium towers –one with 26 stories, the other with 20 stories – comprise a total of 342 living units. Exterior features include precast punched windows with integral color and multiple textures. The project consists of 100,000 sq ft of design-build architectural precast.
