Clark Pacific is contributing to the delivery of the New Modesto Courthouse, a major civic development (Courthouse Project | Modesto, CA) and one of California’s highest-priority trial court capital projects. Located in Stanislaus County, the new courthouse will consolidate operations from six outdated or leased facilities into a single, state-of-the-art structure spanning 308,964 gross square feet. The nine-level facility, including eight above-grade and one below-grade floors, will house 27 courtrooms and accommodate approximately 350 judges and court support staff.
Designed to meet the rigorous demands of a modern judicial center, the building features a steel special moment-resisting frame and Type 1A high-rise life-safety construction. Interior improvements include secure detention areas, courtroom spaces, central VAV HVAC, smoke control, fire protection, telecommunications, AV, and security systems. The project is targeting high standards of environmental performance and has achieved LEED Silver certification.
Clark Pacific is manufacturing and installing 75,769 square feet of prefabricated facade systems, including 66,858 square feet of Infinite Facade™ and 11,593 square feet of punched window panels. The building envelope includes deep thin-shell precast panels with ballistic-rated windows and an optional metal panel system overlaid with a Nawkaw finish to achieve a custom aesthetic. These systems integrate seamlessly with the courthouse’s architectural and performance requirements, offering durability, energy efficiency, and enhanced security.
This project highlights Clark Pacific’s ability to deliver high-performance, prefabricated facade solutions for complex civic and institutional buildings that serve vital community functions.
