Clark Pacific delivered prefabricated facade systems for the new Placer County Health and Human Services Center (HHS Center), (New Health and Human Services Center | Placer County, CA) a transformative civic project designed to centralize and modernize community health services in Auburn, California. Located on a 10.37-acre site at the Placer County Government Center, the 136,000-square-foot facility brought together all Health and Human Services divisions for the Auburn and foothills area under one roof for the first time.
The two-story, 50-foot-high building featured flexible, open-plan office space, a central lobby with a visitor management system, large training and meeting rooms for countywide use, and naturally daylit workspaces. The site design included a river-themed landscaped entry, a children’s play area, and outdoor patios for both visitors and employees—reflecting the county’s commitment to an inviting and accessible community environment.
The HHS Center also became Placer County’s first zero-net-energy facility, generating as much electricity as it consumed annually through the use of carport-mounted photovoltaic panels. The project was developed in close collaboration with county staff to ensure the space supported both employee well-being and efficient service delivery.
Clark Pacific provided 30,046 square feet of prefabricated facade systems, including 21,089,046 square feet of Infinite Facade™ and 8,957 square feet of punched window panels. These high-performance systems contributed to the project’s energy goals and supported an accelerated construction schedule through offsite fabrication and efficient onsite installation.
