Broderick—previously called Quince—at 301 Spruce Street is one of the first projects leveraging San Diego’s Complete Communities program to enhance urban density. This striking L-shaped development will rise from six to 17 stories, reaching a height of 194 feet, with 266 parking stalls, 5,631 square feet of commercial space, and a suite of premium amenities, including a spa, gym, community kitchen, dining area, pool, and deck.
The project’s name honors the legacy of renowned San Diego mid-century designer Walter Broderick, whose 1974 transformation of a former market introduced brick arches that became a defining architectural element of Bankers Hill. These arches—and the care and vision behind them—serve as inspiration for Broderick, reflecting how thoughtful design, layered influences, and collaboration come together to create something uniquely special.
