Clark Pacific delivered Parking Structure 5 using our PARC design-build solution, providing the Sacramento Campus with a six-level, 957-stall facility that sets a new standard for performance and efficiency. Located in the northeastern quadrant of the campus—over the former Parking Lot 18 and adjacent to the Cancer Center, Parking Structure 4, and the Imaging Research Center—the structure supports the Replacement Hospital Tower (RHT) project with dedicated construction staff parking through 2030. Once the RHT is complete, it will serve campus staff and patients.
High-Performance Design
Built with a precast hybrid moment frame for enhanced seismic resilience, Parking Structure 5 earned a Platinum rating from the U.S. Resiliency Council (USRC)—the highest level for safety, damage resistance, and recovery time. To address its location in a high-traffic corridor, the structure’s subterranean entry maintains uninterrupted pedestrian and emergency vehicle access between Parking Structure 4, the Cancer Center, and the future RHT.
Sustainable & User-Friendly Features
The facility includes more than 90 electric vehicle charging stations, integrated office space, a secure bicycle enclosure, elevated landscaping, and photovoltaic panels, aligning with the campus’s long-term sustainability and mobility goals.
Parking Structure 5 is designed to achieve Parksmart Gold certification.
