By opening a store within the community of Azusa, CA, When the Target Corporation wanted to build a store within the community of Azusa, they wanted to do so in a way that would prove to have a positive impact on the community, by bringing a new shopping experience and jobs to the local area. As part of their commitment to the community, Target wanted the new store to be built in the least impactful way to local residents. Clark Pacific’s neighborhood friendly construction methods of offsite pre-fabrication and “just-in-time” delivery to the jobsite aligned with Target’s commitment to the community. The result was a mixed-use concept Target store with ground level and podium parking with pavilion retail above.
