Clark Pacific delivered the architectural precast facade for the five-story building that houses the St. Johns Plaza Pharmacy at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica (1986). Designed for a coastal medical campus, the enclosure pairs durability with a warm, human-scale expression. Using an architectural formliner, our team crafted repeating ribbed and sandblast-finished panels that create depth, shadow, and visual continuity across the elevation while standing up to salt air, sun, and heavy daily use.
As both designer-partner and manufacturer, Clark Pacific coordinated closely with the contractor and hospital stakeholders to streamline erection on an active site, minimizing disruption to patient care. The prefabricated facade system accelerated the schedule, delivered consistent quality from the plant, and ensured long-term performance with low maintenance. The result is a crisp, resilient exterior that complements the Health Center’s campus architecture and provides an enduring address for essential pharmacy services.
