Clark Pacific played a vital role in the construction of the new 240-bed skilled nursing and memory care facility at the Veterans Home of California-Yountville, (New Skilled Nursing Facility at Yountville Home Will Be Veteran-Centric from the Ground Up |) a project led by military veterans for military veterans. Designed to replace the aging Holderman Skilled Nursing Facility, this state-of-the-art center will provide high-quality care to veterans and their spouses, honoring their service with advanced facilities and a veteran-centered approach to healthcare.
With leadership at the California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) consisting predominantly of veterans, the project reflects a deep commitment to improving the lives of those who have served. Veteran residents of Yountville Home were actively involved in the planning process, ensuring their needs and perspectives shaped the design of the new facility.
Clark Pacific provided a full precast system for the building, utilizing ribbed plank and hollowcore floor systems, including a radiant heating system for improved comfort and energy efficiency. The project encompassed 299,230 square feet of elevated deck and 17,000 square feet of punched windows, totaling 301,230 square feet of high-performance, a complete precast building.
As the oldest and largest veterans’ home in the United States, the Yountville Veterans Home is a place of great historical significance.
