Clark Pacific designed and delivered a one-level prefabricated parking structure for a busy San Diego strip mall to address limited weekend parking that was impacting retail tenants, including Jasmine Chinese Restaurant. Partnering with owner Frank Wong, architect Richard Baker, and structural engineer Mike Hayes, Clark Pacific transformed an initial hand-drawn sketch into a finalized 3D Revit model, streamlining the design and approval process.
Construction was carefully staged to maintain parking access for tenants throughout the project. Using precast components, the structure was cast and erected in sections, completing the build in just two months. All installation occurred in a tight urban setting with mixed retail and residential surroundings, demonstrating Clark Pacific’s expertise in delivering rapid, high-quality parking solutions in challenging environments.
