The Folsom Ranch Advanced Ambulatory Care Center is a critical healthcare addition to the community, offering a range of essential services including an outpatient surgery center, a laboratory, and telehealth facilities. This four-story medical office building was designed to provide a modern, welcoming environment for patients while maintaining the high-performance standards required by Dignity Health.
By utilizing a prefabricated exterior, the project team achieved a sophisticated architectural aesthetic that distinguishes the facility within the Folsom Ranch development. The variety of textures and finishes ensures a visually dynamic structure that remains durable and low-maintenance for the long term.
Facade Project Details
Clark Pacific manufactured and installed 24,384 square feet of Architectural Precast Concrete (APC) for the facility. Our scope was central to the building’s visual identity, featuring a complex mix of colors and textures that highlight the versatility of precast systems.
Key project specifications include:
-
Custom Architectural Finishes: The facade features four distinct finishes, including two different colors and multiple levels of sandblast, to create depth and visual interest.
-
Textural Detail: We utilized a specialized formliner to provide unique patterns and textures to the panels, enhancing the building’s ground-floor presence.
-
Strategic Panel Design: The design incorporates APC wall panels at the ground floor for a resilient, high-quality pedestrian experience, transitioning to large spandrels on the upper three floors to complete the building envelope.
-
Prefabricated Quality: Shifting the production of these complex finishes to our off-site facility allowed for meticulous quality control and consistent results that are difficult to replicate with traditional on-site construction.
