Located in downtown Sacramento, the new Sacramento Criminal Courthouse will extend across approximately 550,000 square feet and consist of 53 new courtrooms spanning over 18 stories. It is slated for a Winter 2023 completion date.
Designed to achieve LEED Silver certification, the courthouse will cover an entire city block and house the court’s criminal and civil operations. It will also include a large jury assembly room, a civil settlement center, a mechanical penthouse, and electrical, mechanical, telecommunications, audio/visual, and security systems. The facade system is Clark Pacific’s Architectural Precast Concrete and features a polished finish throughout. The new Sacramento Courthouse will consolidate operations from three different facilities.
