As part of a greater plan to implement a more urbanfriendly shopping experience, a Von’s grocery store was planned as the new anchor store for the Pasadena Plaza, located along the historic Rose Parade route in Pasadena, CA. The result is a modernized 58,000 square foot Vons grocery store featuring 64,000 sq ft of columns, beams, double tees and spancrete that provides the rooftop parking and 20,000 square feet of shop space.
