Willow Glen Plaza is a LEED Silver-certified, 96,000-square-foot mixed-use development that transformed a former liquor store and underutilized parking lot into a vibrant destination for the Willow Glen neighborhood. The $20 million project added 15,000 square feet of retail space, 22,450 square feet of Class A office space and 161 parking spaces, integrating restaurants, retail, offices and parking within a highly efficient site.
Clark Pacific worked closely with the design-build team to deliver a prefabricated concrete podium and parking structure while accommodating two existing retailers that remained operational throughout construction. Extensive phasing and scheduling helped minimize disruption, while long-span precast concrete double tees allowed the new structure to span over Willow Street Pizza and maximize usable space below.
The project also included a full interior remodel and expansion of Willow Street Pizza, including a larger patio and new bar. By thoughtfully integrating new development with existing businesses, Willow Glen Plaza created a more active, community-focused destination designed to support increased foot traffic and continued growth in the neighborhood.
