UC Berkeley Helen Diller Anchor House

Berkeley, CA

In an attempt to mitigate an overwhelming housing shortage for their students, the University of California, Berkeley is set to unveil the Helen Diller Anchor House in time for the Fall 2024 semester.

Standing 14 stories high, the Anchor House will be the first and only housing building exclusively for UCB transfer students. The certified LEED Gold building will include 244 apartments with individual bedrooms for 722 students. Just one block from campus, Anchor House will meet the university’s critical student housing needs. It utilizes Clark Pacific’s Clark Composite Architectural Precast Panel (CCAPP) with a black thin brick finish that also included punched windows installed at the factory. Scheduled to be completed in late 2023.
